We’re excited that you’re thinking about talking to us about a new role.
Considering a move is always a bit nerve-wracking as you wonder, Will I like it? How long will it take me to get my head around everything? What are the people like? Will there be morning tea on birthdays?
When most people think of outdoor design they think of gardening, pool design and landscaping. We’d probably broaden that definition to include outdoor lifestyle in general. That encompasses how we eat, how we play, the lights we use, the structures we shelter underneath, the furniture we sit on, the paths we walk on and the landscaping we look at. It’s how a space feels to be in. It’s giving the outdoor space the same emphasis and sense of importance that we’ve always given to the indoors. So now when we talk about ‘outdoor lifestyle’ products, you’ll know what we mean.
So we’ve told you a little bit about us and what we’re into. But mostly we want to tell you that we’re really excited that you’re considering joining our team and we look forward to having a chat & getting to know you better.
If you’re wondering what our company is like before you shoot us an email, check out our book of culture below to get a sense of the way things are done around here. So take a look and see if this sounds like you.

Just a few of the perks of working at Eco Outdoor…
Eco Outdoor is committing to Learning + People in a big way
Jen Stumbles, head of Marketing and Technology, discusses the new Learning + People strategy at Eco Outdoor.
“The marketplace is shifting and let’s face it – paying lip service to our people function is no longer enough. Retention is challenging and the way we recruit is changing. How do we find the right people and most importantly, once we find them how do we keep them?
People want flexibility, growth and development at work and they don’t want to feel like just another employee. We’re living in the age of the free agent and we suspect that if you can look after your people, nurture their careers and help them to grow, everything else will take care of itself.”
An Outdoor Life
An Outdoor Life is Eco Outdoor’s annual lifestyle newspaper. It highlights some of the people we’ve worked with and what really inspires us in the design space. Take a look and get a better sense of what we’re all about.

What’s in it for you?
We are a culture of yes. People are the most important asset we have in our business. You spend more time at work than you do at home, so we want to make sure you feel supported, challenged and excited to be here.
Employee learning & development and health & wellness underpin our employee programs; we’re big believers in ‘growing our own’ and we’ll make sure you get what you need to have the career you want with us. We also should mention that we don’t do commission-only roles. We’ve been doing this for 18 years and we know the only way to get great staff is to pay them well – plus we’ll cover all the usual important things like vision, medical, dental, 401k premium health insurance and a competitive bonus structure.
