While the design is sleek, functionality is maintained through the full wall of cabinetry and a well-considered layout.

When your home is perched on the cliff top, the view is what you really want to celebrate. Annabelle Chapman Architects have done just that with this minimalist kitchen without compromising on style. The all-white kitchen maintains the coastal aesthetic that runs through the entire home. Texture is added through the timber panelling and warmth through the pale, oak following.

Clean in design, this minimalist kitchen gains warmth and soul through the use of textural materials. Designed by Scale Architecture, the kitchen’s grain and warming colour tones of the timber joinery together with the subtle grey flecks and movement in the Andorra Limestone lift the feeling within the interior.

Hecker Guthrie has celebrated a contemporary purist aesthetic in this modern extension. Using Seville Project Stone as the base material, the palette is kept refined and pared back. Custom designed joinery is in complimentary colour tones of white and grey, and attention to detail is given to the stone sculptured basin and powder coated coloured tapware. Architect Thomas Winwood has respectively renovated this 1970’s home to create a contemporary space for the inhabitants while staying true to the modernist design aesthetic. The clever combination of materials including the Abyss Slate Tiles and the timber battened ceiling and joinery, against the crisp white, provides a timeless update in a contemporary manner.
